Program terms

A free educational program

MYE offers entrepreneurship education for Muslim students in grades 6–12. Applying and participating do not require a donation. Applications are reviewed by the team; submission does not guarantee admission, a particular mentor, or a start date.

Course materials and mentoring are general education. They do not guarantee earnings, sales or business success, and do not replace advice from a qualified legal, tax or financial professional.

Families and respectful participation

For students under 18, MYE must confirm participation directly with a parent or legal guardian before arranging mentor contact. An application does not complete that confirmation. See information for parents for the process and how to withdraw permission.

A parent or guardian should be involved in a minor’s participation, mentor contact and activities that involve payments, tools or meeting other people. Follow the adult-supervision guidance included in each course activity.

Use the program respectfully. Do not harass people, impersonate someone, submit misleading applications, or share information you do not have permission to share. Contact the team about conduct, safety or accessibility concerns.

Your work and story submissions

Submitting an idea for review does not transfer ownership of your work to MYE. Please avoid including confidential business information that is not needed for your application.

Share only stories, photos or other material you are allowed to provide. A story submission is considered privately; publication requires a separate confirmation, including appropriate parent or guardian permission for minors. Submission does not guarantee a feature.

Donations and external services

MYE is fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation (d.b.a. Hack Club), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 81-2908499. Donations use HCB and are subject to the terms presented there. See our donation information for fees, receipts and refund requests.

Other websites and tools linked from the course have their own terms, age rules, privacy practices and prices. Review those with a parent or guardian when appropriate.
